In my previous job working as an in-house translator, I was involved in all stages of the translation and DTP process. My main focus is electronics and measuring instruments, but I have experience in a variety of other fields, including music, optics, and programming.

主に電子工学や測定機器に関する翻訳をしております。社内翻訳者として勤めた時は翻訳およびDTPの全ての段階に関わりました。また、音楽、光学、プログラミングなど、他の分野の翻訳経験もあります。

Currently working as a freelance translator. Technical translator at MediaEFX in Hamamatsu city from 2007 to 2010. Coordinator for International Relations in Kirishima City from 2004 to 2007. Passed the 2005 Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1. Essay grader for the University of California Irvine Writing Project from 2001 to 2003. University of California Irvine – BA, Japanese Language and Literature with an English minor.

現在はフリーランス翻訳者。 2007年から2010年まで有限会社メディアエフェクツ（静岡県浜松市）で技術翻訳者として勤務。 2004年から2007年まで国際交流員として鹿児島県霧島市市役所で勤務。 2005年に日本語能力試験1級取得。 2001年から2003年まで米国カリフォルニア大学アーバイン校教育学部（UCI Writing Project）で高校生の作文、エッセイの採点をし、文書の書き方の指導に携わる。2004年にカリフォルニア大学アーバイン校卒業 – 専攻：日本語と日本文学、副専攻：英文学
