I’ve spent 20 years as a translator of Japanese, accumulating a great deal of valuable expertise and insight encompassing a broad range of industries, disciplines, and media. I’ve produced a fair number of published translations, including books, serialized e-novels, and contributions to authoritative reference works; a lengthy extract from one published translation constitutes an entire chapter of a widely used high school English textbook. Among other things, I’m an editor of the highly regarded (and eternally evolving) Kenkyusha Online Dictionary, as well as a musician, videographer, and pretty good cook.
