Japanese to English translation services in the areas of government, business, finance and topics of a general nature.

I have been working as a translator from Japanese to English for more than two years. From January 2008 to January 2010 I worked as Communications Officer at the London office of the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR, 財団法人地方自治体国際化協会) where one of my primary roles was the translation of government and local finance and administration related articles, case studies, speeches and presentations intended for British government officials and academics.

Between 2004 and 2007 I spent almost three years in Japan working as an English instructor and as a student studying Japanese.

• MA in Advanced Japanese (Japanese to English Translation), University of Sheffield, United Kingdom (this is a distance learning course, due to graduate in 2011)
• Bachelor of Business (Marketing), University of Southern Queensland, Australia (graduated 2002)
