札幌の団体で野生動物関連の仕事に関わった後、2003年からフリーランスで翻訳をしています。大学では畜産学（特に遺伝子工学を用いた家畜育種）、大学院では野生生物について学びました。 Freelance translator since 2003. The areas I feel most comfortable with include life science, agriculture, natural environment and wildlife. NAATI-accredited translator (English to Japanese). Currently based in Sapporo, Japan.
